How Can India Qualify for the World Test Championship Final?

India’s road to the World Test Championship (WTC) final is still open. For India to secure their place in the WTC 2025 final at Lord’s, the team must secure a win in the fifth and final Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024-25 at the Sydney Cricket Ground. At the same time, India would root for Sri Lanka to defeat Australia in their upcoming series so that Australia drops WTC points for India to move up the WTC points table.
