There will definitely be players who are likely to go unsold, while some players are expected to start a bidding war. One such player who is expected to garner significant interest when his name pops out of the auction hat is Shreyas Iyer. Being an experienced player with an Indian nationality is a sought-after combination. Iyer showed last season that he is a captaincy material after guiding the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to a title in IPL 2024.
